I missed my train on my way home because I was still lost in daydreaming

Someone let me listen to this song last week. It's from Stornoway and called Zorbing.

Keep your fingers crossed

This weekend I'm testing my new camera, a Canon 1000D, over and over to make sure I'll be able to take lots and lots of great photos in Egypt. I'll depart tomorrow evening and at the moment I'm only keeping my fingers crossed and crossed and crossed again that Schiphol will be free of snow! I'll come back to cold Holland the 27th of December at 8 am.

En bra sång!

Oj, jag älskar svenska så himla mycket! Sången från Little Marbles är också trevligt.

The Lovecats

My sister bought a Fisheye a few weeks ago and these are some of the results!

Ergens tussen mijn ribbenkast en knieschijf
Heeft zich neergevleid een luid spinnend poezenlijf

A Day In The Life

A few weeks ago M. (on the right) decided to bring her Sony Alfa to college... After our first college, we met J (centre) in the corridor. We've got college in old buildings in the centre of Utrecht. These buildings are beautiful from the outside, but the inside is mostly the opposite. At least the corridor is great in this building. After a little chat we left J. and went to Bigoli, where you can buy delicious sandwiches for only three euros!
We always go to Coffee Company to eat our Broodje Bigoli, but this time CC didn't have seats for us left, so we went to Douwe Egberts. There we bought a Latte, hot chocolate and some special coffee I forgot the name of. Oh, and apple juice, because M. (left) doesn't like coffee.
Buying Broodje Bigoli.

Afterwards we returned to Drift, where most of our colleges take place.

This time we had college in the library, a beautiful building... I like the sight of so many books!

And there we saw J again!

Whistling

I whistle all along when I'm listening to this song.

---
Waking sitting up right can't explain the sunlight
Wondering why you're not home
Girl I go beside you
left before you tried to work out all the unknowns

Blame it all on me when I forget to defend
Everything that we worked out
something in her wording I cannot help searching
For what memory found

Thought it stopped just as it start
But that is not what you are
You're a layer on my clothes
Made of ivy and gold

Meet me in the hallway bite your lip when i say
Never have you left my mind
Stop and think it over smiling moving closer
oh what delicate time

Blame it all on my when I forget to defend
everything that we put down
Something in her wording
I guess she was just searching
for some monetary sound (?)

Thought it stopped just as it starts
But that is not what you are

You're a layer on my clothes
Made of ivy and gold

Jag älskar Stockholm

I'm going to Stockholm again! I'm quite excited about it, because it will be the first time I'll speak Swedish to people who actually understand what I'm saying (or at least, that's my intention). I'll go there the first week of February, so I still have to wait a few months.
Last (and first) time was in June, so I guess it must be so different this time!
